Lump sum paid for impairment

If the client (partner or dependent child) has received a lump sum paid under the Accident Compensation Act 2001, the cash asset limit is increased by the amount of the lump sum payment for 12 months from the date the payment is received.

After 12 months, the client's Accommodation Supplement must be reviewed to test their ongoing entitlement.
