Partner overseas

Where one partner of a married, civil union or de facto couple is overseas and the partner remaining in New Zealand is getting half the married, civil union or de facto rate of benefit, Accommodation Supplement is assessed using the married, civil union or de facto rate of entry threshold.

The full rate of Accommodation Supplement calculated is paid to the client.
