Debt Repayment Orders
All Debt Repayment Orders are sent directly to the Central Processing Unit for processing.
Debt Repayment Orders are issued by the Ministry of Justice under the Insolvency Act 2006 and can be issued where the client is an un-discharged bankrupt.
Unlike other court attachment orders, Debt Repayment Orders are not subject to any protected earnings rate. Payment is generally made to the supervisor of the debt but occasionally the District Court will act as an agent for collection of the debt.
Payment continues for 3 years or until further notice is received from either the supervisor or the District Court.
Debt Repayment Orders are administered via the PYECI screen, not through CORBI.
