Specific engagements

Specific engagements are interactions that can meet the same purpose as the Mandatory Review. These interactions can capture information that confirms if a client still qualifies for Disability Allowance.

Specific engagements are when a client has an interaction with MSD, and this results in a full review of the client's circumstances.

For example, specific engagements may include when a client contacts MSD to:

• discuss a change in circumstances or
• apply for assistance.

If the specific engagement meets the same purpose as a Mandatory Review, and the client still qualifies, their Mandatory Review date will be set 52 weeks from when the specific engagement was completed.
