Changes and reviews
Clients have an obligation to advise MSD of any changes in their circumstances that may affect their entitlement to Disability Allowance or the rate payable.
MSD may also review Disability Allowance at any time to check the client still meets the qualifications and is getting the correct rate of payment (if applicable).
Mandatory Review for Disability Allowance
MSD must review a client's Disability Allowance within 52-weeks of when this assistance commenced, or within 52-weeks from when the client's last Mandatory Review was completed.
Clients must respond to the Mandatory Review before their review date, or their payments will suspend.
Generally, all clients getting Disability Allowance will have a Mandatory Review for this assistance (except clients also getting Youth Payment or Young Parent Payment).
