Terminal benefit rate
The provision to continue the payment for up to 28 days following the date of death is referred to as terminal benefit.
Disability Allowance is continued at the rate which was payable to the client at the date of death.
SWIFTT
If you are paying terminal benefit you will need to manually calculate entitlement and make an adhoc payment in the SAHPA screen. There is no automatic provision for the payment of terminal benefit for Disability Allowance in this case on SWIFTT.
