Disability Allowance

Clients receiving Residential Support Subsidy who have ongoing disability related costs may qualify for Disability Allowance.

Disability Allowance cannot be paid for costs covered by the client's contract with their residential support service provider or through other funding services.

Due to the complexity of assessing Disability Allowance for Residential Support Subsidy clients, all Disability Allowance applications, reviews and inquiries from clients receiving Residential Support Subsidy are managed by the Residential Subsidy Unit.
