Extra help

A client who is in residential care may be able to get Extra help if they have ongoing costs in the community.

Clients in residential care because of physical, intellectual or psychiatric disabilities cannot get:

  • the annual Clothing Allowance for Residential Care Subsidy or
  • Special Disability Allowance
