Death of a client

If the client who qualifies for Special Transfer Allowance dies, the allowance is reviewed and may be granted to a partner or family member who has been living with the client prior to death, for:

• up to three months from the date of death or
• to the day the partner, companion or family member vacates the premises

whichever is earlier.
