Receiving a qualifying benefit

Clients and their partners are eligible to receive Winter Energy Payments if they are receiving one of the following qualifying benefits:

• Sole Parent Support
• Supported Living Payment (health condition, injury and disability)
• Supported Living Payment (caring)
• Jobseeker Support
• Jobseeker Support Student Hardship
• Emergency Benefit
• Emergency Maintenance Allowance  
• Youth Payment
• Young Parent Payment
• New Zealand Superannuation
• Veteran's Pension

Note clients not receiving a qualifying benefit are not eligible for a Winter Energy Payment.
