Change in circumstances

Clients must tell MSD straight away about any changes in their circumstances or their family's situation that may affect their entitlement to Emergency Benefit. Clients agree to this by signing the Emergency Benefit application form.

A change of circumstance may also affect the client's social obligations.

Clients who met the Parental Assistance Test to qualify for Emergency Benefit must also tell MSD about any changes in their parents' circumstances that may affect their entitlement to Emergency Benefit.
