Orphans or Unsupported Childs Benefit is being paid

When a client is receiving an Orphans Benefit or an Unsupported Childs Benefit, the child is not treated as a dependent child and is not included in the assessment of Emergency Benefit.

The client's Emergency Benefit is assessed on their family circumstances excluding the child for which Orphans Benefit or Unsupported Childs Benefit is being paid.
