Partner with work or work preparation obligations or an exemption
The partner of a person receiving Emergency Benefit can continue to receive a benefit for up to 28 days in any 52 week period if they meet the criteria for approved travel.
This applies whether a partner has work or work preparation obligations or an exemption from these obligations.
