Orphans or Unsupported Childs Benefit is being paid
When a client is receiving an Orphans Benefit or an Unsupported Childs Benefit, the child is not treated as a dependent child and is not included in the assessment of Emergency Maintenance Allowance.
The client's Emergency Maintenance Allowance is assessed on their family circumstances excluding the child which Orphans Benefit or Unsupported Childs Benefit is being paid for.
