Client with work obligations, exemption or deferral
Clients receiving Jobseeker Support cannot generally be absent from New Zealand and continue to receive payment of their benefits unless they have an approved reason for travel.
This includes:
- clients exempt from work obligations
- clients deferred from their work obligations
- clients with part-time work obligations
