Caring for a person who requires full-time care
Clients getting Supported Living payment as they are caring for a person who requires full-time care can have their benefit continue for a maximum of 4 weeks, while the patient is in some other person's care, because the client is in hospital.
If the client is in hospital for more than 4 weeks, they will no longer qualify for Supported Living payment. Consider if the client qualifies for another benefit.
