Deciding reassessment from an existing assessment
When you establish that the client meets the criteria for Supported Living Payment you will need to decide if the client will qualify to be given simplified access and never be medically reassessed, or the client's capacity for work needs to be reassessed in 2 years.
This decision needs to be made from the information on the existing assessment and any other relevant information.
If you are uncertain about the medical reassessment period or need to check if your client meets the simplified access criteria, refer to the Regional Health Advisor or Regional Disability Advisor [no link find out why] for advice.
