Money Management

Money Management is a non-financial sanction that can be imposed on a client or their partner as an alternative to a Grade 1 financial sanction.

A client on Money Management will have 50% of their main benefit put onto a payment card that can only be used for essential expenses. Any remaining benefit payments go into the client’s bank account. Money Management lasts for 4 weeks from the date it is imposed.
