Subsidy Assessment for blind clients
Take the total amount of income from all sources, including:
- Supported Living Payment (net)
- any supplementary assistance
- the additional subsidy (equal to 25% of average gross yearly personal earnings)
- all other income (gross)
To be able to receive a blind subsidy, the total income must not exceed the income limits.

- for clients who are married, in a civil union or de facto relationship $30,258.44 a year or $581.89 (gross) per week
- for clients who are single $34,175.06 a year or $657.21 (gross) per week
