Transfer from another benefit

If the client is receiving a benefit, Veteran's Pension can start from the day the payment of the previous benefit stops. This will usually be the day the client meets the qualifications for Veteran's Pension.

When Veteran's Pension is granted, the first payment covers the period from the commencement date to the day payment is made.
