Rate of Allowance

7.1

The amount of an Allowance is the amount of an accommodation supplement that would be granted to the Young Person under the Act in respect of the Young Person's weekly qualifying accommodation costs while living away from Home.

7.2

In calculating the amount of an Allowance, -

7.2.1

The Young Person is to be treated as if he or she was receiving jobseeker support under the Act; and

7.2.2

No account is to be taken of any Income or assets of the Young Person.

7.3

In this clause, "weekly qualifying accommodation costs" has the meaning in clause 7 of Part 7 of Schedule 4 of the Act.
