Loss of Property from Fire or Burglary

11.6.1

MSD may grant a Payment of up to $1,000 towards the replacement of items an Applicant has lost due to fire or burglary, if the Applicant-

(a)

is not insured for the lost items; and

(b)

cannot obtain assistance or sufficient assistance from relatives; and

(c)

in the case of burglary, has reported the incident to the police.
