Emergency Household Needs

11.9.1

MSD may grant an Applicant a Payment of up to $200 for each of the following purposes:

(a)

outstanding electricity, gas, or water bills, or reconnection charges for emergency gas or water (but, if for more than one, the maximum Payment is $200):

(b)

purchase of the most economical items of essential beds, chairs and tables.

11.9.2

MSD may grant an Applicant Payments of up to the following amounts for the following purposes:

(a)

(revoked)

(b)

if section 368(1) of the Act applies to the applicant, the least amount required by the applicant to purchase one or more of a washing machine, combined refrigerator-freezer, freezer, or refrigerator under the contract with the preferred supplier under section 366.
