Risk rating for affordability
The assessment of affordability measures the client's ability to afford (with any financial assistance to which they may be entitled) suitable alternative housing.
There are four levels of risk rating for affordability
At risk (4) | Residual income when ratio is 35% or less |
Serious housing need (3) | Residual income when ratio is between 36% and 55% |
Moderate need (2) | Residual income when ratio is between 56% and 69% |
Low or no need (1) | Residual income when ratio is 70% or greater |
