Check the tenant's property still meets their needs

If MSD has determined the tenant still qualifies for social housing, MSD needs to check whether the tenant's current social housing property still meets their needs.

To do this, MSD needs to determine:

• who lives in the household - signatories, applicable people, dependent children, additional occupants
• bedroom allocation - using over-crowding guidelines
• other housing needs, such as:
  • letting area (the area the client needs to live) and
  • other features of the property required by the tenant or their household (e.g. single level, ramps, modified features for health or disability issues or needs of small children)
