Employment
Clients must advise of any change in circumstances that affects their entitlement to Jobseeker Support Student Hardship, such as commencing employment.
When a client or partner (if any) advises that they have commenced employment, MSD must check that they are still entitled to Jobseeker Support Student Hardship and are getting the correct rate of payment.
To review the client’s Jobseeker Support Student Hardship, MSD needs to know:
- the date their employment commenced
- the type of employment, meaning:
- casual employment
- part-time employment
- full-time employment
- the name and address of the employer
- the hours will they be working
MSD will determine the appropriate review action based on this information.
