Changes and reviews
A client is obliged to advise the Ministry of Social Development of any changes in their circumstances that may affect their entitlement to Jobseeker Support Student Hardship.
You may also review a benefit at any time to ensure that the client still meets the qualifications and is getting the correct rate of payment.
A change in a client's circumstances may also mean that the client qualifies for another benefit.
A client who met the Parental Assistance Test to qualify for Jobseeker Support Student Hardship must also advise MSD of any changes in their parents' circumstances that may affect their entitlement to Jobseeker Support Student Hardship.
