Example 1
A client has two casual part-time jobs both are paid on a weekly basis.
- Job 1 $150 gross paid weekly earned for the period Wednesday 02/04/2014 to Friday 04/04/2014
- Job 2 $210.00 gross paid weekly earned for the period Sunday 06/04/2014 to Tuesday 08/04/2014
The client phones the contact centre and declares all of this income.
Although the income declared is received from two different part-time jobs the amounts are added together for the week the income is earned and charged against the benefit as follows:

- Part-time Job 2 $750.00 gross for the period worked Wednesday 02/04/2014 to Tuesday 15/04/2014 paid fortnightly on Tuesday 15/04/2014 (10 working days). Client earns $15.00 per hour and works 5 hours per day.
The client's partner phones the contact centre on Tuesday 15/04/2014 and declares all of this income. Although the income declared is received from two different part time jobs the amounts are added together for the week the income is earned and charged against the benefit as follows:
