Death of a client in New Zealand
The cancellation of New Zealand benefits and pensions on the death of a client follows normal procedures.
International Services receives reports from SWIFTT when a New Zealand benefit or pension is cancelled for clients who were also receiving a Danish benefit or pension.
The executor of the client's estate will need to contact the Danish authorities directly if they require any details of the Danish benefit or pension, such as last payments due.
For The Danish Pensions Agency (Pensionsstyrelsen) contact details see:
- Overseas pension agencies Denmark
International Services will send the following information to the Danish authorities:
- the clients name
- the date of death and
- the name and address of the administrator of the estate
SWIFTT
The executor of the estate should be added to the client's record using the SBFTZ screen in SWIFTT so that International Services can advise the Danish authorities.
