Supported Living Payment
When a client from Denmark meets all the qualifications for the New Zealand Supported Living Payment (health condition, injury, disability or totally blind) except residence they may qualify under the agreement with Denmark.
The agreement with Denmark allows periods of residence in Denmark to be regarded as residence in New Zealand for a client to meet the period of residence qualification for Supported Living Payment (health condition, injury, disability or totally blind).
The client must meet the New Zealand medical criteria.
The client may also be entitled to a Danish Pension, which may be directly deducted from the New Zealand Supported Living Payment (health condition, injury, disability or totally blind).
Note when Supported Living Payment (health condition, injury, disability or totally blind) is granted using the agreement with Denmark you will need to add the reciprocal indicator by using the SDT1A screen in SWIFTT and entering 10 in the entitlement code field.
