Maltese life certificates

When a client is receiving a Maltese pension in New Zealand they may be required to complete life certificates by the Maltese authorities.

The Maltese authorities will send the life certificate form directly to the client when it is due.

The client should complete the life certificate and return it directly to Malta.

If a client needs the life certificate witnessed it is important to check that:

  • the life certificate is fully completed, signed and dated
  • the client's address has been verified and
  • the certificate has been stamped with the office date stamp in the presence of the client

The life certificate is returned to the client to send directly to the Maltese authorities.
