Korean life certificates

When a client is getting a Korean pension in New Zealand they may be required to complete life certificates from the Korean authorities.

The Korean authorities will send the life certificate form directly to the client when it is due.

The client should complete the life certificate and return it directly to Korea.

If a client needs the life certificate witnessed, it is important to check that:

• the life certificate is fully completed, signed and dated
• the client's address has been verified and
• the certificate has been stamped with the office date stamp in the presence of the client

The life certificate is returned to the client for them to send directly to the Korean authorities.
