OSCAR Providers and GST

The OSCAR Subsidy does not include GST as the payment is being made to the Childcare provider on behalf of the client.

If the Childcare provider is registered, they are required to include GST as part of the fee for the service provided.

For any queries about GST the provider should contact Inland Revenue to discuss the centres liability.
