Residential Care Subsidy : Contents
Absence from New Zealand
A client is obliged to advise Work and Income of any change in their circumstances that may affect the payment of their main benefit, for example, if they (or their partner) are going to be absent from New Zealand.
When a client or their partner contacts you to advise that they intend travelling overseas you need to obtain the following information:
- date of departure (flight numbers if possible)
- date of return (flight numbers if possible)
Please refer to existing main benefit, changes and reviews for current policy instruction.
For those clients who are receiving a Residential Care Loan advise Legal Services.
