Social Rehabilitation Assistance : Contents

Introduction

Social Rehabilitation Assistance is paid to clients who are resident in an approved residential social rehabilitation programme and the client's benefit is not sufficient to meet the fees charged.

Social Rehabilitation Assistance is paid through miscellaneous subsidy on SWIFTT.

The social rehabilitation provider must verify that the client is resident in an approved social rehabilitation programme. The payment of Social Rehabilitation Assistance must be paid direct to the social rehabilitation provider.

The rate of payment for Social Rehabilitation Assistance differs depending on which area the social rehabilitation programme is running in. The areas are the same as those specified for Accommodation Supplement.
