Cancellation of main benefit
When the parent benefit is cancelled, Special Transfer Allowance may be paid as a non-beneficiary supplementary.
A check should be made at the time of cancellation that the client continues to meet the criteria and that the rental remains unchanged.
Special Transfer Allowance for non-beneficiaries should be reviewed annually to ensure the client remains at the listed address and continues to pay rent.
