Death of a dependent child
When a dependent child dies, Temporary Additional Support needs to be reviewed to check that the client still meets the qualifications and is getting the correct rate of payment.
There is some discretion to continue payment for up to 28 days following the date of death. To help decide whether to continue payment see:

The person responsible for the cost of the funeral may be able to get a Funeral Grant.
