Incentive payments can continue
Generally, the incentive payment will continue if a young partner has earned them and then is exempt from their activity obligations.
Where a young partner is granted an exemption from their activity obligations, continued eligibility for the incentive payment needs to be assessed. Where a person has acted in a way that is inconsistent with the purpose of the incentive, all of or some of the incentives may be removed, for example, when an exemption is required due to court imposed conditions.
School and tertiary holidays
Any incentive payments earned by the young person will continue to be paid during any school or tertiary holiday periods while they are receiving Jobseeker Support.
