Restoring incentive payments
The service provider or Work and Income "in-house" service can recommend that an incentive payment be returned to the young partner, if they are satisfied that the young partner is now acting in a way that is consistent with the aims of the incentive payment.
When the incentives will be returned depends on:
- the reason that the incentive was removed
- whether the young partner has undertaken or completed steps to address their actions
- whether the service provider or Work and Income "in-house" service is satisfied that the young partner is now acting in a way that is consistent with the aims of the incentive payment
