Partner becomes sick

If the partner of a Supported Living Payment client has a health condition, is injured or disabled they may be exempt from meeting their work obligations until they are well again.

Where the partner's health condition permanently and severely restricts their ability to work, they may be able to receive a Supported Living Payment in their own right.

If the client (or partner) is admitted to hospital it may affect their rate of payment.
