Who can apply for a review or appeal
The following people can apply for a Review of Decision:
- the current social housing tenant (that is, a signatory to the tenancy agreement)
- a prospective tenant
- a former tenant or
- an appointed agent or advocate for the tenant
Joint tenants
Where there are joint tenants, each individual tenant can apply for a Review of Decision. Depending on the decision under review, any response about the decision or the review may be sent to all of the joint tenants.
Persons not able to apply for a review or appeal
A third party, without authorisation, is not able to apply for a Review of Decision.

- the parent or family member of a young person who is or was a tenant or
- an additional occupant
