Client becomes sick
When a client becomes sick, their priority for social housing may change. Where the client's health condition impacts on their employment, their indicative rate of Income Related Rent may be affected.
Examples include (but are not limited to) where:
- the urgency for social housing increases
- the client has no immediate need due to being hospitalised long term
- alternative housing arrangements being made such as moving in with a family member who can provide care
- the client's benefit type changes
