Hospitalisation
When a client on the register is admitted to hospital, how you treat their application status is determined by a number of factors including (but not limited to):
- the expected duration of the stay in hospital (long or short term stay)
- whether they are a single applicant, a joint applicant or they have an agent
- the likelihood of the client moving into an alternative housing arrangement
For example residential care - ability to participate in a referral
whether they are available for a referral or do they have someone to act on their behalf such as, an applicable person included in their application for social housing or an agent
