Details from overseas
International Services sends each client a 'Details from Overseas' form with their grant letter - which can be emailed on request. The client is required to return this form after they have arrived overseas.
This form asks for:
- details of the client's overseas bank account number which must be verified by the overseas bank and
- evidence that the client is travelling or residing in the country or countries which were stated in their application form
If this form is not returned by the client within 6 weeks of their arrival overseas, payments will be suspended by International Services until the form is returned and entitlement confirmed.
If a client wants to communicate with International Services via email, they should complete the 'Authorisation of E-mail address Form' that's part of the 'Application for New Zealand Payment Overseas' form.
