Changes and reviews
A client is obliged to advise Work and Income of any changes in their circumstances that may affect their entitlement to a New Zealand benefit or pension.
You may also review a benefit at any time to ensure that the client still meets the qualifications and is receiving the correct rate of payment.
A client is also required to provide any information required by the Jersey/Guernsey authorities to ensure that they are still entitled to their Jersey/Guernsey pension paid in New Zealand.
Adverse action
When MSD matches a client's information with information from Jersey or Guernsey, MSD must send a written notice of adverse action to the client.
A notice of adverse action is only required upon receipt of the first information match.
