Money left on payment card after youth money management ends
When youth money management ends for young people, they can still use any funds left on their payment card for approved suppliers, or they can apply for the money to be paid to them directly.
Applying for direct payment of money
The young person (or Youth Coach, or their agent on their behalf) can make an application to have any money left on their payment card paid directly to them. This can be done verbally or in writing and can be made at any time after youth money management ends.
Note applications and payment can be made several years after the young person leaves Youth Service. There is no time limit.
