Introduction

A Community Services Card is available to low or middle income earners to enable them and their family to access subsidised health services. Community Services Card holders can also get a 50% discount on public transport fares for themselves.

The Senior Support Centre is responsible for deciding if a client qualifies for a Community Services Card.

Clients may also be able to get a High Use Health Card and/or a Pharmaceutical Subsidy Card from the Ministry of Health.
