Change of ownership

When an existing OSCAR centre is sold, the new owners will need to meet the criteria set down by Ministry of Social Development Approvals.

The new centre will need to supply the information requested under new centres.

Under no circumstances can we pay a subsidy to a centre that is not approved.

All subsidies may be transferred to the new centre using the CCTFR screen in SWIFTT. The transfer screen (CCTFR) will allow users to transfer all children linked to a childcare provider record to a new centre in one action, rather than individually by child record.

The new centre should confirm by letter or fax the children who will be attending the centre.
