Hospitalisation
When an Emergency Benefit client is admitted to hospital you will need to check that the hospitalisation does not affect the qualification for which the client was granted Emergency Benefit. This will include meeting any additional obligations similar to those of the benefit that the client doesn't qualify for.
Client no longer qualifies
If the client no longer meets the qualification for which they were granted Emergency Benefit you will need to consider whether the client qualifies under a different category for Emergency Benefit or qualifies for another benefit.
