Employment part of the reapplication not required
Generally, all clients and partners with work related obligations are required to complete the employment part of the reapplication. However, some clients and partners may have circumstances that mean they do not need to complete the employment part of the 26 week reapplication.
This is limited to clients in the following circumstances only:
- partners with work preparation obligations or youth activity obligations,
- clients who are getting Jobseeker Support on the ground of a health condition, injury, or disability who are on unpaid sick leave, or working at a reduced capacity, and have a confirmed return to work date,
- clients or partners who have no work or work preparation obligations (i.e. they have a full exemption from their work or work preparation obligations).
If the client or partner is in one of these situations at any point between the date their "initial notice to reapply" letter is sent and their expiry date, they do not need to complete the employment part of the reapplication, even if their circumstances change before their expiry date.
